Job Title: Client Relationship Officer

Ref No: CRO1-15
Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; working with team.
Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans and implementing them to achieve and exceed expected performance targets.
Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
Sustains rapport with key accounts and clients by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities under his/her purview.
Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
Expand and develop marketing platforms.
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget.
Report on return on investment and key performance metrics
Develop sales strategy
Create marketing presentations
Liaise with media and advertising
Collaborate with the sales function
Monitor industry best practices
Education and Experience
Engineering, Science, Business or Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
Technical marketing skills
Proven experience in customer and market research.
Relevant product and industry knowledge.
Experience with relevant software applications
