FG Will Explore New Ways Of Creating Jobs – Ngige

The Federal Government would design a new approach in tackling the the high rate of youth unemployment. This statement was made by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige.

He said that the new approach would help to move the economy forward for the benefit of the people.

While on a courtesy visit to the Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Ngige said that the government would depart from old ways of tackling the perennial problem of youth unemployment.

Ngige who was in the state to commission an ICT skill acquisition centre completed by the National Directorate of Employment, NDE, at Ugwunagbo Local Government Area, explained that the directorate was committed to combating unemployment in addition to formulating policies on employment.

According to the minister, “Government cannot give employment to everybody, but we can teach people how to employ themselves. The NDE established the skills acquisition centers where people are trained on how to do things with their hands and earn a living for themselves,” Ngige said.

  1. Teach us how to employ ourselves? Hmmm, if everyone becomes and his own boss, who will be employed? Lol

Sorry for the wait... 2016 just got started up

With all the problems in Nigeria at the moment, and at a time where the leadership is paying no attention to trivial complaints from the masses due to the heavy burdens assumed alongside the mantle of office, one can only wait... Until things get better. Alternatively, the same person(s) can work to make things better for his country and most importantly, for himself.
We at workingclassblog have chosen the alternative road. The road many would call "the road not taken"- by those who chose the first option I mean..
But then, first things first. We apologise for the blind spots and questions created by our unceremonious leave of absence. We also apologise waiting for things to change for the better even when we knew that the solutions are not far-fetched.
We promise you better services and loads of more good stuff that are capable of making you the important person you deserve to be.

Regards,
The workingclassblog team.
